Privacy notice: Thruwatch waitlist and website
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This notice explains what we collect when you visit thruwatch.com or join the Thruwatch beta waitlist, and what we do with it. It covers the marketing website only. The Thruwatch app has its own privacy policy, which we’ll publish before the app launches.
Who we are. Thruwatch is run by Mark Fasel (“we”, “us”). Contact us at hello@thruwatch.com or by mail at: 5281 69th St E, PMB 171, Palmetto FL 34221, United States.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist:
- your work email address;
- how many client websites you manage, and your role (from the form);
- your agency website, if you choose to give it after confirming;
- whether you ticked the box to receive product updates, and the exact wording you agreed to;
- where you came from (the referring page and any campaign tags in the link, such as
utm_source).
When you visit the site:
- Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is used by a person, not a bot. Cloudflare may process technical information about your browser and device to do this.
- Abuse prevention: we store your IP address only as a one-way scrambled value (a salted hash), so we can limit repeated sign-ups. We can’t turn it back into your IP address.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. Cloudflare states it does not use this to track you across sites.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this site. If that changes, we’ll update this notice first and give you a way to opt out.
How we use it
- To manage your beta request: we send a confirmation email, reply about your spot, and invite you when it’s ready. These emails are part of the service you asked for.
- Product updates and launch news: sent only if you ticked the box and confirmed your email. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site secure: spam and abuse prevention.
- To understand which channels bring people to us: using the campaign tags above.
If you’re in the EU or UK, our legal bases are: your consent for product updates; taking the steps you asked for (your beta request) for confirmation and beta emails; and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and understanding how people find us.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare (hosting, database, bot protection, analytics).
- Resend (sending email and managing email preferences).
Both process data on our behalf and may store it in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Unconfirmed sign-ups (you never clicked the confirmation link): deleted after 30 days.
- Confirmed waitlist entries: kept until the beta and launch are over, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Consent records (what you agreed to, and when): kept for as long as we email you, and for a short period afterwards, so we can show we had your permission.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from product updates at any time, using the link in any update email.
- Access, correct or delete your information: email hello@thruwatch.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK), you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell people on the waitlist by email.
